7/12/17 afternoon stop at Bennet, BC

The only way to get to Bennet is by train, plan, or boat.  This is where the Klondike gold rushers too to the water to get to Whitehorse and beyond on the Yukon River.  They carried their ton of a year's supplies either on the White Pass Trail or the Chilkoot Trai.

This Presbyterian church served all faiths for a short time. Once the ice broke from the lake the gold rushers left and the town died.
