6/29/17. Quick trip to mile 15 of Denali NP

Saw quite a few views of Denali, a ptarmigan, a caribou, squirrels and bunnies. 

And alex dog getting excercise, Prospictor.

6/24/17. McCarthy and Kennicott Mill and Mine

Stair step calving glacier view from the foot bridge that was near our camp site. 

Much of the area is falling down due to age and big floods. There is a Lon term restabilization project. 

14 story mill. 

1.5 inches of dirt cover the icy glacier mounds. 

This creek flooded in 2009. Many structures wiped out. Water rushed through the red building up to the double Windows.
