7/11/17 largest wooden fish ladder in Whitehorse, YT

For a fund raiser and community project, the fish were decorated and displayed on the fence. These are just a few that caught my eye. 

This is on The Yukon River, downstream from the dam and heading for Whitehorse. 

7/11/17 Last meal in Whitehorse, YT

Interesting name for a restaurant. They are known for great pizza.  It was mighty good. Meat, kale, goat cheese.

The Dirty Northern Bastard.  I little irreverent  Chose the Wild Salom Tacos and home made fries.

7/19/17 last full day of driving

Good Morning North Dakota!  The haze is smoke from the wild fires in British Columbia. 

Don't know how far we will drive today.  As far as we can.  It's 855 miles home. Tomorrow will be a short day of driving.

Saw a few flocks of white Pelicans in water. 

In Minnesota saw floss of white heron on Pigeon Lake on highway 15. 

Ate Pilot pizza.  Oh how I missed Pilot pizza when traveling. 

7/18/17 driving through Saskatchewan from Lloydminster to the USA Border at North Portal.

Canola

A quick visit through Moose Jaw. 

Hills created from potash mining. 

Flax in bloom. Blue fields.
